Sigríður Ragnarsdóttir

Sigríður Ragnarsdóttir (b. 2005) is an Icelandic actress, singer, and dancer. She is currently studying acting at the Iceland University of the Arts, graduating in the spring of 2027. During the 2023–2024 academic year, she also studied at Central Musical Theatre School in Copenhagen.

Her passion for performing truly began when she appeared in Billy Elliot at Det Ny Teater in Denmark. Since then, she has performed in numerous theatre and dance productions across Denmark and Iceland, in professional and amateur theatre as well as school productions, including plays and musicals at the Commercial College of Iceland (Verzlunarskóli Íslands).

With an extensive dance background, Sigríður has competed internationally with distinction in classical ballet, lyrical, jazz, contemporary, and tap. She has also appeared in commercial campaigns for Arion Bank, Hopp, and Vodafone.

Having grown up in Denmark and Norway, Sigríður is fluent in Icelandic, Danish, and English. Outside of acting, she is a passionate horse back rider and nature enthusiast. She recently earned her skipper's certification and hopes to combine her love of adventure with sailing around the world.

Sigríður will next be seen in the leading role of the feature film Hvar er draumurinn (Where Is the Dream?), premiering in September.
