Jasmín Pitt
Jasmín Dúfa grew up in Reykjavík, where she studied classical dance for eight years at the Icelandic School of Dance and sang in two of Iceland’s most prestigious choirs: Stúlknakór Reykjavíkur and Skólakór Kársness. This early training soon led her to the National Theatre of Iceland, where she performed in numerous productions as both an actress and a dancer.
In 2016, she ventured into television, taking on the role of Jóhanna in Trapped (Ófærð, directed by Baltasar Kormákur), shown on RÚV and BBC, and Ally in Stella Blómkvist (directed by Óskar Axelsson), shown on Sjónvarp Símans and Amazon Sundance Now.
In 2017, Jasmín began her studies at the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA), graduating with a Diploma in Acting. She then continued onto the three-year BA Acting programme at the Oxford School of Drama, from which she graduated in 2021.
Since graduating, Jasmín has worked extensively in London theatre, taking on roles such as Anna in No Particular Order (directed by Josh Roche) at Southwark Playhouse, Sapphire in Putrid Beauty (directed by Barnaby Tobias) at Actors East, and Natasha in Three Sisters (directed by Alessandra Davison) at Lyric Hammersmith. She is also set to star in the London premiere of The Name by Nobel Prize–winning playwright Jon Fosse, directed by Simon Usher, currently in development with the Marylebone Theatre.
Most recently, Jasmín can be seen as Lára Aradóttir in the television series Hildur (directed by Tinna Hrafnsdóttir), premiering on Ruutu and Sjónvarp Símans in early 2026. She also appears as Pavlina in FBI: International (directed by Alex Zakrzewski) on CBS, Raquel in the comedy thriller My Bloody Galentine (directed by Traci Hays) for Tubi Original, and as Kai in the upcoming short film Bad Fortune (directed by Arielle Levack), in which she plays the leading role.
