Arnaldur Halldórsson
Arnaldur Halldórsson is an Icelandic actor, singer, and dancer, born in 2006. Despite his young age, he has built extensive experience across theatre, music, dance, and voice acting.
Arnaldur began his acting career at a young age. In the spring of 2019, he appeared in Matilda at the Reykjavík City Theatre (Borgarleikhúsið). He subsequently performed in Am I My Mother? (Er ég mamma mín?), a collaborative production between Reykjavík City Theatre and Kvenfélagið Garpur. At the National Theatre of Iceland (Þjóðleikhúsið), he has appeared in productions including When the Robbers Came to Cardamom Town (Kardemommubærinn) and The Changeling (Umskiptingurinn).
Music has played a significant role in Arnaldur's life from an early age. In 2017, he was selected as Björgvin's Christmas Star and performed in Björgvin's Christmas Guests. Since then, he has participated in a wide range of musical projects. In the spring of 2026, he graduated from the Iceland College of Music (Menntaskólinn í tónlist), specializing in vocal performance.
Arnaldur has also achieved notable success as a dancer, winning awards at the Dance World Cup. In addition, he has provided voice work for numerous animated productions.
On screen, Arnaldur has appeared in the Edda Award-winning short film Geltu! (Bark!) and the television series Hildur.
In the spring of 2025, Arnaldur graduated from Menntaskólinn við Hamrahlíð. During the 2024–2025 academic year, he served as President of the school's Student Council. He also studied at the National Theatre School during the 2025–2026 academic year after being admitted through a highly competitive selection process.
