Guðmundur Ingi Þorvaldsson

Guðmundur Ingi graduated from Iceland Academy of the Arts in 1998 and has since been an active artist in various fields both in Iceland and abroad. He completed a master’s degree in playwriting from Goldsmiths, University of London, in 2009, and holds an MBA degree from Reykjavik University since 2014.

Guðmundur has always been involved in bands and has released six full-length albums with his own music under the names of the bands Atómstöðin, Tvö dónaleg haust, Loftskeytamenn, and Stórsveit Guðmundar Inga. In music, his strengths are singing, guitar, and harmonica.

Event hosting

Over the years, Guðmundur Ingi has been an MC at events of all sizes and types, from weddings and birthdays to gatherings with thousands of people. He is skilled in human interaction and a sense of flow and emphasis. He can step into the flow at any moment with his own material, jokes, music-related content, karaoke, or party games, depending on the needs of each event.

Guðmundur Ingi also has significant experience as a chairperson and has hosted both large and small events over the years, with great success. Everything would be done with respect in collaboration with the event organizers for each occasion.
